Were the Crusades an unprovoked act of aggression on behalf of bloodthirsty Christians? Did the First Crusade mark the beginning of close to a millennium of hostility between Christianity and Islam, or did the conflict begin centuries earlier?

Stefan Molyneux takes a closer look at the historical background of the Crusades and presents shocking information that is often hidden from the general population. What is the truth about the origins of the Crusades?

So timely...

For almost 100 years, Susquehanna University has been known as "The Crusaders." The university's board of trustees just voted to replace the longtime nickname and mascot.
"Many critics of the term Crusader feel that connotations of the word -- related to the medieval crusaders who used violence in the name of religion -- are at odds with the university's commitment to embracing and respecting difference. "

I heard an islamic scholar on you tube say that the french revolution " broke the back of the Christian West." I studied this and how this flowed into communism etc. I think he is right, and i beleive the west is in decline partly because of this fact. The christians are so few and the christians in name only will not die for their faith, as like you, most are athiets. Couls this be the end of the Christain west? Is it too late, or is Islam the future of the globe?
