Hi! My name's Krysta; my boyfriend and I are moving out relatively soon (two or three weeks) to Denver, CO and we are hoping to make like-minded friends out there! Also, we were wondering if anyone familiar with the area has tips for neighborhoods/apartments as we're not sure if there are any bad parts to generally avoid? Even just general advice about Denver would be so incredibly helpful. Thanks so much, we're really looking forward to meeting people

Hey there. I was about to make a Denver thread but noticed this one already here. I'm moving out there in a couple days for a new job. I'd also love to meet some new people.
Hope you guys found a decent place, KMT.

Moving to a new place sounds pretty exciting! I'm not in Denver but a little ways away in Boulder. I met with some gents in Denver a few months ago and I'd like to meet again soon.
Here's the link to the meetup for Denver:
I'll keep an eye out and I'll keep in touch to see what we can do.
GL with the move!

Hey, I missed this thread, so very sorry!
I was in contact with kmt's boyfriend and gave him some tips about neighborhoods and getting around without a car (which I did for 6 months, so I know a couple things about it).
mtnman, I'll ping ya via PM. I'm guessing you're already in the area, so maybe you don't need an intro to the area...
But yes! Nate C and I have been getting together at 2pm on Sundays at Stella's CoffeeHaus in Denver, just south of I-25. It's very accessible via transit and isn't too terrible to drive to if you're not far from downtown.
