  • Politics = struggling to wrest the gun

Going towards the elections, I have a new perspective on politics. All of political manoeuvring and contesting is the contenders simply struggling to wrest control of the gun of the state so that they can point it at the other guy. Once you see the gun, you can not unsee it.

  • Hello everyone

I came to be a freethinker having been raised in a republican voting family, then during my first year of college a friend of mine introduced me to libertarianism...

  • The Peter Schiff interview posted recently tu Facebook

Stef is getting slow. When Peter says that government has the right to confiscate taxes for "legitimate" uses, who determines what are those "legitimate" uses? And once that determination is made, is it morally right for the government to initiate the use of force against a peaceful...

People behave socially and 'well' even without rules: study January 16, 2012 | PhysOrg.com Fundamentally people behave in a social and rather compassionate and "good" way rather than aggressively, even without specified rules. That is the result of a study from the Institute for Science...

  • Schools and Morality

I wrote this as an E-mail for a friend of mine who's in High School so I'll give you all a bit of background on it first. She's taking a school debate class and was given the choice of stuff to debate about, she chose "can schools teach children morals" and was on the side debating...

  • Re: Recomended books for an Anarchy noob?

First, here is a great overview of historical anarchic thought/ideas - "Anarchist Theory FAQ" by Bryan Caplan version 5.2 http://econfaculty.gmu.edu/bcaplan/anarfaq.htm A large amount of "anarchism" / "market anarchism" type reading can be found at the "Molinari Institute"...

  • Corporations and the Free Market

As a regular blogger and vlogger I would like to ask the good people of freedomainradio.com what their views are regarding corporations and a truly free market. Stef often calls corporations "legal fiction," and I entirely agree. Given that there is so much corporate welfare and protection...

  • The Case for a Voluntary Society (Video URL: http://youtu.be/VnCB1Xdnlj8)

The establishment of a few axiomatic truths is required to make rational inferences from observed activity. Examples of these include: no object can be in two places at the same time, one and one make two, and of course “A” is “A”. It would seem, however, that an additional claim...
