Philosophy, passion & love - Let's create awesome music!

    Hi everybody,

I am looking for talented people with passion for philosophy, love and music who would like to help to create and record some wonderful songs to spread the great ideas discussed here.

Anybody who can write some lyrics, sing, play some instrument, can do some PC/electronic music, knows something about mixing, applying aftereffects, mastering or has any ideas is welcome.

It will not be easy, because we are far away from each other, but it is possible. The proof is for example Triplexity band. They have not met each other before and recorded the album Between light and shadow. (free mp3s: http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/16739)
I like their music and admire their great improvisation/solo skills. I will contact them and try to ask them about how they have cooperated and been able to create such pleasant music to listen to.

I can play guitar quite well and I have my own ideas. I think I can sing too, but that needs to be taken for a test drive and some feedback would be appreciated. I will try to record some demo if somebody is interested.

I would like to make it in a higher quality, that the songs are really pleasant to listen to. So for the recording part good skills, fair equipment and time will be needed. But we do not have to hurry.

Is anybody collecting the possible band names from the podcasts?

I am looking forward to your ideas and skills.

Thanks Jake!  It's smooth, yet confusing.  Like underlaying everything is a solid foundation, but the surface is sharp and pitted.

Thanks. The graduate video distortion was an interesting idea. The vocals and solo guitar was from time to time melodically off the lead guitar - it sounded a bit confusing - I don't know if it was purposed :), maybe lyrics will tell me more. Do you have the lyrics posted somewhere? I have as a nonnative speaker a hard time following lyrics in songs by ear. Anyway the lead guitar was fine and fairly rhythmical.

    Hi everybody,

I have decided to try to record something. It is only an acoustic guitar without vocals, but I would like to know, what do you think. I would be happy to hear what you liked and also what you disliked about the song. What have you felt? The song has no lyrics and no name yet. So, if you have any idea, you are welcome. Enjoy.

Very nice, Ronky. Shades of "Simple Man" at the beginning.
