Some of the best podcasts so far. I have been feeling for some time that all of the podcasts have filled up my brain with a fog of static noise. I think my brain is full lol. It's as if there were so many individual conclusions over the years that my brain would just shut down in exhaustion at the very question of something as simple as "what is integrity" or "what does happiness require?" I felt like my goals and desires were too disconnected from values or even my happiness to be sure of anything, and the idea of analysing any of it from the top down just seemed impossible. My brain needs some major housekeeping, from the bottom up. This made me realize that i need to cut through all of the noise and reduce everything down to a simple set of principles, a minimalist personal philosophy that i could refer to in order to guide my actions. I was halfway through writing it down when I played Stef's happiness podcasts, and it acheived almost the same thing - Stef, you summarised most of the important stuff beautifully. Thank you. I have increased my donations because of this one.
When I am finished the "personal philosophy" guide, i am considering posting it here for others to give feedback/improve it. The idea is to have a page-long integrated philosophy with several principles and behaviours that all connect back to life and happiness. If someone else has already done this, then I'd greatly appreciate it if you could post a link.
