I was in the chat a while back and there were a few of us talking about a possible UK meet up somewhere in London. I said I would post an invite but then thought that I should really write an initial intro post and so procrastinated soooo badly until I decided to give up. Now that the intro post is out of the way....

I know its short notice but is there anyone who would be interested in meeting in a pub in London on Saturday the 4th July? Myself and my partner are thinking of possibly going to London that day anyway as he is visiting from America at the moment, and it would be great to meet up with some like minded people for a drink and a chat.

Let me know if you are interested. (I was thinking maybe Covent garden but suggestions are always welcome)!

We were thinking of meeting at the Freemasons Arms in Covent garden. We have only ever walked past it though so if its not so good then we can always move onto somewhere else...

Directions:

Out of Covent Garden tube, turn east along Long Acre (don't go down to the market), it's on the left near the end. (I think that its left out of the station and then right but dont quote me!)

Anyone have a better suggestion?

Also how does 2pm sound to everyone?

Great idea - I was about to post a similar suggestion. I have been yearning to meet some folks who wouldn't be shooting me down in flames as soon as I started expressing a few ideas! I have checked flights and I think I may actually be able to make it over from Italy, although the notice is kinda short! Thanks for a great idea.
