    extroverts are suckups

    This resonates with me:
The introverts, on average, were more inclined to say they make their political decisions based on logic than were the extroverts in our survey. The introverts were also more likely to say they made their political decisions based on morality.

Conversely, the extroverts were more likely to cite that they made their political decisions based on religion and in accordance to their political party than were the introverts. Belief-alignment to their social groups played a larger role in the extrovert's political decision making.

Re Introverts - Belief-NON-alignment (Which is in fact, a specific type of belief alignment!)  to their social groups played a larger role in the introvert's political decision making.

    Conclusion: Introverts are suckups too!

You're making that up.  At least I cited a science publication.

Listen spaced-out-cadet, if you friggin paid attention, you'd notice that the statement is a logicall corollary, of your very own statement.  Then again, I don't know if you've met logic all that often anyway... have you?

    Introvert power!

    Seriously, that is so true.

Back when I used to be a member of the Young Republicans, nearly everyone else was an extravert, and when they would argue amongst themselves on issues, their arguments would always revolve around what figure in the party believed what, like priests arguing about scripture.

I think they assumed I was an extravert like them, because they were always shocked when I didn't soak up the collective opinion like a sponge.

Ugh, being around introverts is so draining.

    I despise extraverts.

My whole family is extraverted, except me.

They always thought something was wrong with me and I was sick because I wasn't constantly inviting people over.

I also don't think extraverts are as capable of indipendent thought, it seems like many of them require another individual to dump their half-formed ideas on and then regurgitate to make a fully-formed thought.

That meshes with the research I cited at the start of this thread.  Notice that the antagonists to this idea have made no effort to cite supporting evidence or research.

    Re: extroverts are suckups

So, the bottom line is that introverts are more self-reflective. Not exactly a surprising result, really. Next thing you know, they'll discover that mothers are more risk averse than single men . . . I wonder how my brain would map out. I've taken two personality tests in my life (for which I know results) and came out 50/50 introvert/extrovert both times. They were taken 18 years apart, so one was as a child, and one as an adult.
